We forge strong partnerships with national women machineries as they serve as central coordinating units for women’s affairs within national governments, promoting the integration of gender equality measures across national policies and programmes. Hence, we view them as vital partners in the process of developing national actions to achieve international agreements on women’s rights.
We embrace a wide range of supports from the private sectors. They are a key partner in efforts to advance gender equality and empower women. Hence, we welcome their financial and corporate supports in the advancements of our mission. We also welcome close cooperation with them in the empowerment of women in the workplace, marketplace and community.
Voluntary financial contributions sustain our programmes and affirm support for gender equality goals. Funding comes from governments, foundations, corporations, organizations and individuals. We warmly embrace any gesture geared at supporting our work.

GET INVOLVED
We partner with Civil society groups whose advocacy work contributes to the global policy framework on women’s empowerment and gender equality on the Status of Women. These groups play important roles in holding international and national leaders accountable for commitments to gender equality and women’s rights, and are involved in implementing UN Women’s programmes in individual countries.
